Corps Picnic 2018

The first corps picnic of the 2018-2019 school year was an immense success! It was organized by our recruiting & retention officer C/2Lt Cameron Dowait, and the rest of our corps staff. The picnic was held at Avellino Park and our corps maintained its shape. We had beautification before and after and made sure the park was spot clean, and we recycled. Almost every cadet in the corps showed up & brought what was assigned to them. Some cadets and our Chiefs grilled hot dogs for the corps. Cadets got to know each other through lunch, which was held on the field and during free time. Flights got to have fun with one another and their officers in capture the flag. Cadets also got to laugh as their top staff played the “newly wed” game. Taelyn Roberts and William Auflik were crowned the king and queen of the drag race that the audience enjoyed! Multiple cadets took home prizes in “The Price is Right” game. All in all, it was a delightful event and a sound way to start the year off!
